Dalia won the Miss Egypt crown and the 27 rank in the 1990 Miss Universal pageant in Los Angles. She first appeared in "Alashan Rabena Yehebak" film.The year 2004 brought further success to the still young actress. Her new film Sana Oula Nasb, in which she starred alongside Khaled Selim, Nour and Ahmed Ezz was a significant hit in the Egyptian Box office. Encouraged by the success of her cooperation with Khaled Selim, Dalia accepted a role in another film alongside the famous singer. The film Kan Yom Hobak is due soon in the theaters but no date has been set for its release yet.
Dalia is also busy off the set. Her hobbies are horseback riding and attending salsa and art classes. As for her family, Dalia has one elder sister and two younger brothers. She is also an animal lover and that shows from her various pets; a parrot, three cats and two birds. Her role models are many and include Souad Hosny, Nadia Lotfy, Ahmed Zaki and Naguib El Rihany.
