Oula Ghanem aka Ola Ghanem

Ola Ghanem - Egyptian Actress

Born in Alexandria on November 26th, Ola Ghanem was always ready for challenges and didn't fear taking a few chances to achieve her dreams. After finishing her studies in Victoria College, Ola first enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Photography Department. But soon she discovered her true calling was in Cairo. So she left her friends and family behind to follow her dreams. She then joined the High Institute of Theatrical Arts, Acting Section.

With the help of some of her teachers and big names in show business - like director Gamal Abdel Hamid, Ola managed to prove herself as an actress and invaded the television with a role in "Habibti Man Takoun." It was not long after that she appeared in the popular television series "Hadith Al Sabah Wa Al Masaa" that was aired in Ramadan and achieved great success. But Ola's dreams exceeded her humble accomplishments, so she chose a different role alongside Faten Hamama in the series "Wagh Al Qamar" and again was able to prove she had the talent to play various roles.

The lovely star's next stop was the series "Zizinya" and then she moved on to "Gesr Al Khatar." But Ola still had a lot to offer the audience and so decided to participate in several series; "Al Fostat", " Leih Ya Donya Leih", "Dahaya Wa Laken" and finally "Ta’ala Nehlem Be Bokra" alongside Leila Elwi.

What about the cinema? Ola didn't make that many films till now, however, her few roles on the silver screen achieved success and popularity. Her films include "Al Agenda Al Hamra" then the comedy "Mohami Kholea" in 2002 with Hani Ramzy. The star is best known though for her latest film "Sahar El Layali" that was a big box office hit in 2003.

Ola has two other films that are due soon in the Egyptian box office; "Ashtatan Ashtout" and "Al sayyad Wal Yamam", so wish the young star the best of luck!
